Etchquisite – Engraved With Personality
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Welcome to Etchquisite! These Terms of Service explain the conditions under which you may browse our website and purchase our products.
By placing an order with Etchquisite, you agree to these terms, subject to your statutory rights under UK law.
Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. About Etchquisite
Etchquisite is a UK-based engraving business offering a range of ready-designed, personalised and custom-engraved products for individuals, gifts, events and businesses.
Our website is www.etchquisite.com and is powered by Shopify.

Our geographical business address is provided in our Contact Information section.
2. Products and Descriptions
We aim to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, measurements, materials and specifications.
However, please be aware that:
-
Colours and finishes may vary slightly depending on your screen settings and the materials used.
-
Natural materials such as wood may feature variations in grain, colour and texture.
-
Laser engraving results may vary slightly depending on the material and finish.
-
Product dimensions may have minor manufacturing tolerances.
These natural or minor variations do not necessarily constitute a fault. However, products must still meet their descriptions and the standards required by UK consumer law.
We reserve the right to update product descriptions, prices and availability at any time before an order is accepted.
3. Personalised and Custom Orders
For products requiring personalisation, customers are responsible for submitting accurate information, including names, dates, spelling, punctuation, messages and other requested details.
Please review your personalisation carefully before completing checkout.
We will make reasonable efforts to reproduce the information supplied, subject to any clearly stated design limitations.
If we identify a problem with your request, we may contact you for clarification before production.
Personalised products made to your specifications or clearly personalised are generally excluded from the statutory 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right.
This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly personalised by us or not as described.
4. Standard Engraved Products
Some Etchquisite products feature our own ready-made designs and engraved phrases.
These products are not automatically considered personalised simply because they have been engraved.
Where a standard product is not made to a customer's individual specifications, normal consumer cancellation rights apply, subject to any applicable legal exceptions.
Please see our Refund & Returns Policy for further details.
5. Customer-Supplied Items
Etchquisite does not currently accept customer-owned items for engraving.
All products offered for engraving are supplied or sourced by Etchquisite unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
6. Orders and Acceptance
After placing an order, you will receive an automated order confirmation.
This acknowledges that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean it has been accepted.
A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order, normally through a dispatch confirmation or another express acceptance.
We may decline an order for legitimate reasons, including stock unavailability, pricing errors, inability to fulfil a requested design or concerns about unlawful or infringing content.
If payment has already been taken for an order we cannot accept, we will issue a refund.
7. Prices and Payment
All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP).
Any applicable taxes, delivery charges and additional personalisation costs will be displayed before you complete checkout.
We accept the payment methods made available through our Shopify checkout.
Payment must be authorised before an order can be processed.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors. If an error affects an order, we will contact you before proceeding and offer the opportunity to accept the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
8. Production and Processing Times
Some products are prepared to order, while others may require additional engraving, personalisation or finishing.
Estimated processing times will be communicated through the product listing, checkout or order correspondence where applicable.
Processing times are separate from delivery times.
We will make reasonable efforts to meet stated estimates and will contact you if a significant delay occurs.
9. Shipping and Delivery
Delivery options, charges and estimated times will be displayed during checkout or explained in our Shipping Policy.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
Please contact us promptly if you notice an error in your delivery address.
For consumer orders, we remain responsible for the goods until they come into your physical possession or that of a person you have nominated, subject to applicable law.
Unless a different delivery period has been agreed, consumer goods must normally be delivered within 30 days of the contract being formed.
If delivery is delayed or unsuccessful, your rights under UK consumer law will apply.
For more information, please see our Shipping Policy.
10. Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Our Refund & Returns Policy explains how we handle cancellations, returns, exchanges and refunds.
For eligible consumer purchases made online, customers generally have 14 days after receiving their goods to cancel without giving a reason, followed by a further 14 days to return them.
This right does not generally apply to goods made to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised.
Faulty, damaged, incorrect or misdescribed products remain subject to statutory consumer protections, regardless of whether they are personalised.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
11. Corporate and Bulk Orders
Etchquisite also offers engraving for businesses, organisations and events.
Corporate and bulk orders may involve individual quotations, agreed quantities, branding requirements, production schedules and payment arrangements.
Any special terms will be communicated and agreed before the order is confirmed.
Orders placed wholly or mainly for business purposes are not generally covered by consumer change-of-mind cancellation rights.
Where an order is subject to separately agreed business terms, those terms will take precedence over these general terms to the extent of any inconsistency.
12. Customer Designs and Intellectual Property
Customers submitting logos, artwork, text or other designs confirm that they own the relevant rights or have permission to use those materials for the requested purpose.
Customers must not submit content that infringes another person's intellectual property rights or is unlawful.
Etchquisite may refuse requests involving unlawful, threatening, discriminatory or otherwise inappropriate material.
Customers retain ownership of intellectual property rights in their own submitted materials.
By submitting content for an order, customers grant Etchquisite permission to use it solely as reasonably necessary to produce and fulfil that order, unless otherwise agreed.
13. Etchquisite Designs and Website Content
Unless otherwise stated, Etchquisite's original designs, branding, product photographs, website text and other original creative content belong to Etchquisite or are used with permission.
They must not be copied, reproduced, sold or commercially exploited without appropriate permission.
Purchasing a physical product does not transfer intellectual property rights in its underlying design.
14. Website Use
You agree not to use our website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
You must not knowingly introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with website security or misuse our services.
We may restrict access or decline transactions where reasonably necessary to protect our business, customers or website.
15. Third-Party Services
Our online shop is powered by Shopify and may use third-party providers for payments, delivery and other services.
These providers may operate under their own terms and privacy notices.
We are not responsible for the content of independent third-party websites linked from our website.
However, using third-party providers does not remove our legal responsibilities to customers.
16. Privacy and Personal Information
We collect and process personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.
This may include information necessary to process orders, arrange delivery, respond to enquiries and provide customer support.
Please read our Privacy Policy for further information about how personal data is handled and your rights under applicable data protection law.
17. Liability
We are responsible for losses caused by our breach of these terms where those losses were reasonably foreseeable.
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
For business customers, any separately agreed limitations of liability will apply only to the extent permitted by law.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service to reflect changes to our products, services, business operations or legal requirements.
The updated version will be published on our website with a revised date.
Changes will not retrospectively remove rights or alter contractual terms already agreed for existing orders without a lawful basis.
19. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory legal protections that apply in your place of residence.
Nothing in this section removes any right you may have to bring proceedings in a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
